Warm Mineral Springs in North Port is home to the only warm water mineral spring in the state of Florida, and is also the largest warm water mineral spring in the world. Nine million gallons of water flow daily through the spring, at a toasty 87 degrees Fahrenheit (30.6 degrees Celsius), providing 51 different minerals, the highest healing mineral content in the United States. This spring is rumored to be the Fountain of Youth that Ponce de Leon was searching for, but alas, never found.
