Mote Marine Offers Educational Fun at Affordable Prices, Just One Hour from Punta Gorda, Florida

Mote Marine Lab in Sarasota, Florida, is home to over one hundred species of marine life, including manatees, sharks, jellyfish, sea turtles, seahorses,and  tarpon. A great day trip from Punta Gorda, Florida, Mote Marine is conveniently open from 10 AM to 5 PM every day of the year, including holidays. Parking at Mote Marine is free. Rates for admission to Mote Marine start at free for those aged 0-3 years, $14 for ages 4-12, $19 for those 13 and older, and $18 for seniors aged 65 and up. Currently there are no student discounts for admission to Mote Marine, but, with the first level of membership at Mote Marine, you can get free admission all year, along with other benefits, for only $60. Now through April 2013, Mote Marine is showcasing special guests Stella, Kitty and Rose, Patagonian sea lions, along with other California sea lion friends. They demonstrate their intelligence and strength in several special presentations each day at Mote Marine.
