Bottlenose dolphins, roseate spoonbills, manatees, bald eagles, and marsh rabbits are some of the wildlife that you might get the chance to see when you visit here. Kayak tours and bicycle, canoe and kayak rentals are available at the park’s concession. Call (239)765-7788 for tour reservations and bicycles, canoes and kayaks rentals.
This dog-friendly beach is open from dawn to dusk seven days a week. Dogs are able to freely roam the beach, leash free, with their owners, and parking for the beach is free. There are no restrooms or running water at this beach, so plan on bringing water or other beverages for you and your dog. No other Lee County beach allows dogs to be leash free. Proper handling and control of your dog is required, since this beach is only able to continue to allow dogs to be leash free based on dog and owner behavior.
