Do you prefer being water adjacent but not on the water? No problem, we have some recommendations for you too!
- Visit one of the many Tiki Bars in the area. A few of our favs are: TT’s Tiki Bar, Sunset Beach Club at Fishermen’s Village, or Riviera Bar & Grill’s Tiki Bar.
- We have some great waterside parks: Ponce de Leon Park in Punta Gorda (great sunsets here – for those with limited mobility you can enjoy the view right from your car in the parking lot), Bayshore Live Oak Park, and Lemon Bay Sunrise Rotary Park.
- Take a walk along the water: Punta Gorda’s Harborwalk, Gilchrist Bridge Walk, Venetian Waterway Park Trail in Venice, or the Venice Myakka River Park.
