6. 21st Annual Lighted Boat Parade
Saturday, December 4th at around 6 p.m. you can view the fantastic 21st Annual Lighted Boat Parade from areas throughout Punta Gorda including Edgewater Lake in Charlotte Harbor, Fishermen’s Village, the bridges of US41 North and Southbound and Laishley Park Marina. View the parade route map to pick you spot!
7. European Style Christmas Market
The 1st Annual Holiday Market will take place December 2nd through the 4th at the corner of Marion and Taylor in downtown Punta Gorda. The market will run from 4 to 10 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday and will include unique gifts, carolers, tree lighting, and even Mr. & Mrs. Claus!
8. Santa Paws
Every member of the family needs a picture with Santa – even the four-legged members. On Sunday, December 5th from 12 to 3 p.m., you can bring your pets to have their picture taken with Santa for just $10 at the Animal Welfare League in Port Charlotte. Refreshments will be served.
9. Mistletoe Ball
The 3rd Annual Mistletoe Ball to support the Charlotte County Homeless Coalition will be held on December 11th from 6 to 11 p.m. Tickets for this formal event are $100 a person and will include a beautiful winter wonderland experience complete with dining, dancing, and live entertainment.
10. Kiwanis Christmas Card Lane
Starting Decmber 4th, drive or walk along the pathway into Gilchrist Park and view giant holiday greeting cards. There will be a judging for ribbons the morning of December 5th and the cards will be on display throughout the holiday season.
