21st Annual Symphony of Trees

The Symphony of Trees show and auction features unique holiday trees, wreaths, and centerpieces decorated by 15 – 20 local non-profit organizations presented at the Cultural Center of Charlotte County. Visitors will have the opportunity to make offers on the entries, and the highest bidder purchases it. Even if you can’t make it to the 21st Annual Symphony of Trees on our 6th day of Punta Gorda Holiday Events, the Symphony of Trees is open daily through December 10th.

Admission is $2 for adults, $1 for Children under 12 and $1 for Cultural Center members.  All profits benefit Museum Society Inc. and participating Non Profit Organizations.

Pearl Harbor Day Ceremony

Although it is not necessarily a Punta Gorda “Holiday” Event, the Pearl Harbor Day Ceremony at Fishermen’s Village is not to be missed. On December 7th at 5 p.m. in the Center Court of Fishermen’s Village there will be an annual remembrance and salute to the men and women of Pearl Harbor.

“Sounds of Holiday Music”

What better way to spend a Thursday evening and our 8th day of Punta Gorda Holiday Events than listening to “Sounds of Holiday Music” performed by the Port Charlotte High School Concert Band at the Center Court in Fishermen’s Village from 5-7 p.m.

Candy Land Christmas in History Park

For nine days (12/2- 12/10), the History Park in Punta Gorda will transformed into a Christmas village with a “Candy Land Christmas” theme. We have picked “Candy Land Christmas for our 9th day of Punta Gorda Christmas Events because Santa Claus will visit the park on December 9th  (Santa will also be present on Dec. 2, Dec. 3, Dec. 4, and Dec. 10).

Children under 10 years old will be admitted for free. Tickets cost $3 for persons 11 through 17 years old, and $10 for adults. For tickets, call the Historical Society at 639-1887

Holiday Fine Arts & Crafts Show at Fishermen’s Village

On December 10th there will be a Holiday Fine Arts & Crafts show held at Fishermen’s Village from 10 a.m – 8 p.m with all handmade pottery, jewelry, ceramics, and fine arts. The arts & crafts show combined with all of the regular shops at Fishermen’s Village should make for a great opportunity to cross a few people off your holiday shopping list!
